Tips for displaying and protecting your prints

These prints will not fade, discolor or deteriorate for a very long time. However, hanging or displaying your prints in direct sunlight, near heat outlets or in very humid conditions will shorten their longevity. Tungsten lighting (regular household lighting) is preferred for illuminating your prints.

Framing your prints protects them from the elements and physical hazards as well. Use one or more mats (approximately three inches in width) to create a dead air space between the glass and the print. This eliminates fungus growth or "gluing" of the print to the inner surface of the glass. The mats also add a pleasing decorative touch.

Your framer should be able to answer any questions and offer suggestions regarding the mounting and framing of your prints.

Enjoy.
